Insight Global is seeking 5 House Parents for a client in Amarillo, Texas.
House parents are incredibly critical members of the community, they work in tandem with the program and direct care teams to provide daily supervision to the residents.
They build and maintain healthy, positive relationships throughout the campus and provide structure, guidance and facilitate positive interactions within the home.
Additionally, they provide a nurturing environment and are instrumental in the development of social and relational skills, and are entrusted with the health, safety and well-being of each resident in their care.
A House Parent has the responsibility of providing essential supervision, structure, and helps to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the residents in their care.
Previous experience working in childcareA bachelors degree in a related fieldA commercial drivers licenseMust be at least 21 years of ageA high school diploma or GED equivalence Must be comfortable residing on campus in housing providedMust have reliable transportation Must possess a valid driver's licenseMust be available for travel as neededFor couples:
must be legally married 2 years Up to 2 dependent children allowed but kids must be 5
years or olderMust possess exceptional time management and detail-oriented skills.
Basic computer knowledge Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Child Care Time Management Transportation Management Safety Principles Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
