OverviewRegistered Nurse RN, Medical Surgical 4C, Full Time, Days BSA Health System is an extensive hospital system providing clinical excellence to the Texas Panhandle and the tri-state area.

4C Medical Surgical is a 30-bed post-surgical unit, located in the Ware Tower, caring for general surgical, medical and bariatric patients.
The unit is supported by a team consisting of the Unit Secretary, Patient Care Technicians, Transporters, Nutrition Ambassadors, RN's, LVN's, RN Shift Supervisor, a Clinical Educator, a Manager and the Director working as a cohesive team to ensure excellent patient care ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Job Duties:
Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth and develop health improvement programs.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
Conduct specified laboratory tests.
Observe nurses and visit patients to ensure proper nursing care.
Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition Qualifications Licenses and Certifications:
Current Texas RN license -or- eligible for issue of a Texas Graduate Nurse Permit CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required Qualifications/
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Previous nurse tech or staff nursing experience Assess, plan, evaluates, documents total nursing process Organized, self-motivated with exceptional follow-through skills Able to work in a fast paced medical services unit Computer skills necessary; EMR EPIC documentation Multi-task constantly and tolerate multiple interruptions Clear and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Compassionate customer service skills Committed to patient and family satisfaction Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Cpr Certified Nurse Practitioner Communication Customer Service Hardworking And Dedicated Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
