We are seeking a Visitor Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team and be the friendly face and voice of Amarillo to our visitors.
Job Description:
The Visitor Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Amarillo Convention and Visitors Bureau, supporting the sales, servicing, and tourism departments while also serving as the main greeter for our organization.
This position requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for showcasing Amarillo's unique attractions.
At times, this position will require working evening and weekend events.

Responsibilities:
1.
Visitor Assistance:
Greet and assist visitors, providing them with information on Amarillo's attractions, events, and services.
Offer a warm and welcoming presence at the Amarillo Convention and Visitors Bureau's front desk.
Respond to inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, offering top-notch customer service.

Departmental Support:
Provide logistical support for event planning and execution, such as arranging transportation, accommodations, and tours.
Put together welcome materials for group tours, conventions, and events Assist in coordinating site visits for potential clients and partners.
Prepare sales materials, itineraries, and presentations to promote Amarillo as a destination.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure that client needs are met, and expectations are exceeded.
Collect feedback from clients and visitors to continually improve the level of service provided.
Participate in community outreach and promotional events to increase Amarillo's visibility as a tourist destination.
Ensure all activities are recorded in Simpleview CRM Software Data collection from partners
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Knowledge of Amarillo's attractions, culture, and events is a plus.
Previous experience in data entry or CRM systems is preferred.
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality-related role is preferred.
