The employee functions under the direction, instruction and supervision of the long term care supervisor.
Requirements:
Prefer a high school diploma or equivalent.
Assist clients to achieve maximum self reliance, Communication techniques, Clients rights including ethics and confidentiality of care, observation of clients status, the physical and developmental characteristics of clients served by the provider/attendant, know basic elements of body function, recognize emergencies and appropriate response in and emergency, emotional problems of illness, the care of the aged, chronically ill, disabled and acutely ill clients.
Meal preparation.
Assist with bathing and personal care.
Help with transfers, ambulation, positioning and passive exercise.
Should be familiar with procedures for maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.
Be confident to report changes in the client's condition and when to report.
Be an extension of skilled nursing and or therapy services.
Documentation in records required.
Physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the client's condition and to perform and demonstrate client care.
There must be the ability to give and receive information orally.
On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move clients with a weight up to 250 pounds.
Be able to lift and or carry up to 30 lbs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
