8 Amarillo, TX Amarillo, TX Full-time Full-time From $17 an hour From $17 an hour We are looking for a Home Delivery Supervisor to oversee our Final Mile Home Delivery Division in Amarillo, TX.
The Supervisor will be responsible for the performance of 6-10 team members.
The home delivery specialist supervisor responsibilities would need to balance leadership roles with hands-on tasks.
Here's a list of responsibilities that this position will entail in addition to the daily home delivery specialist responsibilities.
TEAM LEADERSHIP:
Oversee the daily operations of delivery personnel, including scheduling, and assignment delegation to ensure efficient delivery services.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:
Conduct onboarding training for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest delivery protocols, technology use, and customer service standards.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:
Monitor the performance of delivery personnel, providing feedback, and conducting evaluations to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
SAFEFY COMPLIANCE:
Ensure all team members adhere to road safety regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation, handling of goods, and customer interactions.
PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
Serve as the first point of contact for resolving issues that arise during deliveries, including customer complaints, delivery disputes, and logistical challenges.
COMMUNICATION:
Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team and between different departments, such as customer service and logistics, to ensure smooth operation and address any concerns promptly.
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and equipped with necessary supplies and safety equipment.
REPORTING:
Compile and submit reports on delivery outcomes, customer feedback, and team performance metrics to higher management for review and decision-making purposes.
As a Home Delivery Specialist you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of furniture & household goods to our customers' homes and businesses.
You will work as part of a team to navigate delivery routes, handle important goods with care, and provide exceptional customer service.

PAID TRAINING FOR ALL POSITIONS.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a delivery vehicle (DRIVERS) to transport furniture & household goods to residential and commercial locations in the Amarillo, TX, West Texas and surrounding states.
Assist with loading and unloading furniture & household goods from the delivery vehicle.
Efficiently organize and follow delivery routes to meet delivery schedules.
Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries.
Ensure the accurate and secure delivery of furniture & household goods, obtaining signatures and confirming receipt when necessary.
Report any delivery or vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve delivery goals and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
(DRIVERS) VALID ID (HELPERS) Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry furniture & household goods.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Problem solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
Familiarity with iphone or android apps.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Willingness to stay overnight for required routes.
